Join us to see the world’s top tennis players in Monaco at one of the world’s most stunning sporting venues - Monte Carlo Country Club, which hosts the ATP Rolex Masters tournament on open air clay courts by the Mediterranean sea. We stay in a super 4-star hotel, with free drinks every night, on the Italian Riviera near Monaco. The holiday includes tennis tickets for the opening rounds, with the opportunity to view the finals, plus visits to Cannes and Monaco. Travel is by rail from St Pancras and Ebbsfleet, or by air from regional airports.

By train to Marseille
Check-in at St Pancras and board the early morning Eurostar train to Marseille arriving mid afternoon. Continue by coach to Bordighera arriving early evening in time for dinner and the free bar. On the return depart the hotel after breakfast by coach for the afternoon departure from Marseille arriving late evening at St Pancras.

No need to rush
You will have reserved seats on all trains and all stations are at the start or end of the line (except Lille), allowing plenty of time for boarding and alighting.

Day 1: UK to Bordighera
Depart from your chosen airport to Nice, or choose an early morning departure from London St Pancras or Ashford direct to Marseille where we transfer by coach to Bordighera and check-in at the Hotel. Dinner and free drinks at the hotel. For those travelling by air a transfer from Nice to Bordighera will be provided

Day 2: Bordighera
Free day to enjoy the resort and nearby towns. Dinner and free drinks at the hotel.

Day 3: Monte Carlo Masters
We travel by coach to Monte Carlo and take our seats in this stunning location for a day of tennis. Return to the hotel at close of play – exact time subject to run of play. Free drinks at the hotel. Dinner can be obtained at a local restaurant.

Day 4: San Remo
Today we travel by coach to San Remo a charming seaside resort known as Italy’s Monte Carlo and the ‘City of Flowers’ with stunning views on all sides, a large selection of bars, cafes and shops, and the casino, the town is known for its splendor and Grandeur. Dinner and free drinks at the hotel.

Day 5: Bordighera
Free day to enjoy the resort and nearby towns. Dinner and free drinks at the hotel.

Day 6: Monaco
Today we return to Monaco with free time to explore, or to watch the tennis semi-finals - tickets can be booked on request, subject to availability and payable on booking - early booking essential. Return to the hotel late afternoon. Free drinks at the hotel. Dinner can be obtained at a local restaurant. Tennis attendees transfer to the hotel at close of play – exact time subject to run of play.

Day 7: Bordighera
Free day to enjoy the resort and nearby towns or you can travel by train/taxi (payable locally) to Monaco to watch the tennis finals - tickets can be booked on request, subject to availability and payable on booking - early booking essential. Dinner and free drinks at the hotel (for tennis final attendees dinner availability subject to run of play and return time).

Day 8: Bordighera to UK
After an early breakfast we depart the hotel by coach and return to Marseille . for our return Eurostar to London St. Pancras or Ashford; or continue to Nice Airport for the return flight.

4-star - Hotel Parigi, Bordighera
Run by the Sattanino family the Hotel Parigi, famous since the early 1900s as the choice of royalty, offers a rich variety of services introduced over the years to satisfy evolving holiday tastes. Bordighera is a charming seaside resort with a good selection of bars, cafés and shops. With stunning views on all sides, on a clear day you can see Monte Carlo. The hotel is situated on the seafront and offers a wellness centre, private beach, bar and restaurant. All rooms are en-suite and have private balcony, air-conditioning, satellite TV and hairdryer.

Flights

Return flights are possible from Edinburgh, Liverpool, Gatwick, Luton and Heathrow direct to Nice Airport. On arrival private transfer to the hotel. Flights are subject to availability at time of booking and a supplement may apply. Includes 1 carry-on bag and 1 checked in bag per person. Transfer time from Nice Airport to the hotel is approximately 50 minutes.

Eurostar – London to Marseille
From London St Pancras, Eurostar takes as little as 6 hour 20 minutes to Marseille On board, you will have a reserved, semi-reclining aircraft-style seat. You’ll also find a buffer car serving tea, coffee, hot chocolate, beer, wine, spirits, sandwiches, crisps and a few hot snacks. Sterling, Euros and cards accepted. You can eat and drink in the bar area (standing space only, there are no seats) or take your purchases back to your seat. You can also take your own food and drink on board.
Morning Departure
Departures from London is early morning, the exact train departure time is confirmed to us 8 weeks before travel. Please bear this in mind when planning your journey to St Pancras. An overnight stay at a nearby hotel prior to travel may be worth considering – call for information.
Travel & Luggage
There are no actual luggage weight restrictions imposed by the rail companies. However, for your comfort and convenience we recommend you limit your luggage to the following: ONE main suitcase⁄holdall with built in wheels weighing no more than 15 to 20kgs per person – Plus ONE small shoulder bag⁄holdall per person. Restricting the bulk of your luggage to manageable sizes will make the journey more enjoyable. You will need to move all your own bags on and off trains and between platforms and transfer vehicles. Our tour manager will be unable to provide physical assistance with luggage. On TGV trains, you may be allocated seats on the the upper floor, which means you would have to carry your bags upstairs. Many train stations and platforms are big and long, sometimes with stairs or escalators. Some stations have lifts, but using them can involve a longer walk, so be prepared for this when walking with your luggage.
Train travel is a relaxing and enjoyable feature of our holidays
However, at times it can be physically demanding as you will be required to walk and move your luggage on and off trains and between platforms and transfer vehicles. Many train stations and platforms are big and long, sometimes with stairs or escalators, so please be prepared for this when walking with your luggage. The Tour Manager⁄Escort will not be able to provide you and⁄or your luggage with physical assistance at anytime. Where overnight or main hotels are less than 150 metres (approx) from the station, no transportation or luggage assistance will be provided.
