Stay in a Trulli House

All Info

Puglia, situated in the heel of Italy, has been described as the Caribbean of Europe due to its relaxed atmosphere, favourable climate throughout the year, crystal clear blue sea and white sandy beaches. What separates this holiday from others is that we visit the region during the spectacular Carnival period and we stay in traditional Trulli houses in Alberobello. With their distinctive conical roofs, white exterior and, of course, modern hotel comforts, this is a unique way to enjoy a true flavour of Puglia.

Putignano Carnival

Putignano Carnival

Putignano Carnival, said to rival that of Venice, is the oldest in Europe and worlds longest starting on December 26th with a candle exchange ceremony, where people give a candle to the church to ask for forgiveness of their sins that they will commit during Carnival and finishing on Ash Wednesday. This holiday includes two days joining in the celebrations as well as time visit some of the highlights of this stunning region.
